There are eight dominant intelligences a person can have. Each individually possesses all of the intelligences, however with various degrees of strength. Below is a list of the eight intelligences in order from my strongest to weakest with a brief explanation for each.
1. Intrapersonal- This is self smart. I am great at knowing my thoughts, motives, emotions, and goals.
2. Linguistic- This is word smart. I am very good at writing and language.
3. Interpersonal- This is people smart. I am good at understanding and working with others.
4. Visual and Musical- These are picture smart and music smart, which I am equally talented in. I am sufficient at remembering images, being aware of my surroundings, and memorizing through songs.
5. Naturalistic- This is nature smart. I am bad at distinguishing patterns in nature and interacting with animals.
6. Logical- This is number smart. I am very bad at investigation and scientific process.
7. Kinesthetic- This is body smart. I have terrible motor skills and am terrible learning through movement and experimentation.
According to Naviance, a program used by many schools, these are my top three themes.
1. Confidence- I believe in myself and what I can do. This helps me take on challenges because I feel sure I can succeed.
2. Future Thinker- My mind loves to think and dream about the future. I am a person who thinks about what is possible, now what is impossible.
3. Competing- I see many things in life as a game and I feel a great joy when I win. I truly hate to loose because I am always striving for first place.
